D-Doghouse Restaurant In Miami Using iPad As Menu And Jukebox

Apple’s wildly popular tablet, iPad, has been put to many uses. From airliners to schools and universities, the tablet has found a lot of excellent uses. In fact, recently there were news of the tablet being used to ask the customers to surf through the menu and place their order in certain restaurants. Here is yet another unique use of iPad.

Placing menus on an iPad in a restaurant is not new. But imagine using the tablet to place your orders, leave comments, ask the management for anything additional, even play your own music. This is precisely what you are offered at D-Doghouse restaurant.

At the restaurant, each booth has an iPad of its own which stays with that very booth. This allows the costumers to surf through the restaurant’s menu and place their orders. Moreover, the costumers can add any additional comments they would want to make, for instance ask the waiters for a last-minute dessert.

What is even more exciting is that while eating food, costumers can play music on the iPad, thus making the tablet serve as their very own personal jukebox while they have food. Finally, after having the meal, costumers can then pay through the tablet, also effectively saving their information on it for future visits.
