Google Dishes Out An Interactive Map Of 2013 Resolutions

As we enter the new year with many new resolutions, hopes and promises, Google is keeping an eye on what people hope to accomplish this year. The search giant has dished out an interactive map of 2013 resolutions from people around the globe.

Resolutions Map

In the new year resolution map, Google has made use of quite a handful of its features. The map seems to be an outcome of Google’s mapping technologies; the messages popping up at different regions have been translated using Google Translate. The interactive display itself is quite fun to use.

You can view tiny bubbles appearing in different regions so that you can navigate the new year resolutions by region. Moreover, a key has also been added to the right side of the map to indicate what kind of resolutions people are making in a given region.

For instance, love-related resolutions are shown in a red tint; resolutions about health are in a yellow color; if you’re vowing to improve your career come 2013, it is in an indigo share; and so on for different other categories.

You can also add your own resolution to the list or continue reading the resolutions of other people from around the world. Google has also published a related blog post which give you tips related to whatever you are planning this year. For instance, if you are hoping to take that trip you’ve been planning to, Google provides a whole host of apps and services that can help you.
