Folks at Rolls-Royce had raised the bar pretty high with Rolls-Royce Phantom. One wondered if they could take things any further after such a wholesome package. It seems that they can, or at least they can still tweak a few things and add to the awesomeness of the Phantom car. This is manifest in the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II which the company has just unveiled.
Between Phantom and Phantom Series II, the changes are few indeed but are quite significant, especially in terms of design and looks. For instance, the Phantom Series II gets a ‘striking new front end.’ In simpler terms, this translates to revised bumper, full LED Headlights and in place of the supplemental round light is a rectangular LED array.
And although the differences between the two models are mainly manifest on the outsides, there are some key changes in Phantom Series II on the inside too. For instance, the satellite navigation and infotainment system of the car has been upgraded so that it is lot better than that in Phantom. Furthermore, old transmission has been replaced with a more fuel-efficient eight-speed automatic.
The company, in the press release that went with the unveiling of this awesome automobile at Geneva, also announced the re-launching of it’s website www.rolls-roycemotorcars.com, as if to celebrate the new models that it is showing off at the Geneva Auto show.
