A beta version of BlackBerry World 3.0 available to betazone testers. The new version of RIM’s application store has been revised heavily, and features home screen search, social media. The home screen search let you quickly find what BlackBerry app, game or theme you’re looking for. Here you can also flick between app summaries, screenshots, and reviews from one screen, and share links to your favorite apps over Twitter, Facebook, email, SMS, and BBM.

Google has updated its web app for Gmail with the inclusion of pull down to refresh, new transitions and updated icons to take advantage of the Retina display of the iPhone 4 along with transitions between inbox, menu and conversations look as if one screen is sliding to another. Launchpad Control is a free application on OS X that will assist you in cleaning out the unnecessary apps in your Launchpad and the app just check off which apps you don’t want to see .Launchpad is a great feature but it lacks some ease in the modification department and if you’re not able to get rid of the apps you don’t use, it’ll stay a cluttered mess…………….
