There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not Apple will enter into the smaller-tablet market with the launch of a mini iPad. Many have formerly claimed that Apple will be releasing a 7-inch iPad as well as 7.85-inch iPad, but so far we don’t have any sound reason to believe so. Now, an analyst from Sterne Agee, Shaw Wu has expressed his opinion that an iPad mini is simply a ‘question of when, not if.’

We finally have known about shipping date of Asus’s Transformer Pad 300. Asus has declared that their latest Transformer Pad 300 will start shipping on April 22 in the United States. Asus spokesperson said that the price will be announced on April 22 but online retailer BJs is offering pre-order for $399 with 32GB of storage and 1GB of memory.

Toshiba recently announced that the company wants to launch three new Android to its Excite tablet line. This Friday, Asus has confirmed that they are working to release a GPS dongle for Transformer Prime owners. The GPS dongle will help to fix some of the tablet’s positioning woes. Apple has been quite supportive of emerging Web standards and has been giving them a central place in its devices and platforms.
