A photography workshop director named Vincent Kang has revealed an image of Sony NEX-6 on Weibo. The published image shows the body and different lens options of NEX-6. The leaked image shows NEX-6, along with a 24mm and a 50 mm lens, is almost the same as NEX-5R; the new one just have a slightly better control functions and an electronic viewfinder.
The 2359k dot image built-in viewfinder is a new addition to NEX-6, compared to NEX-5R. The camera also has a dedicated function key that is situated on top, near the shutter.
People familiar with the camera predicted that users will enjoy photographing using NEX 6 more than they did using NEX-5R. The 16 megapixel NEX-6 is equipped with APS-C sensor, Wi-Fi, tripod mount etc. These are all the as same as NEX-5R. The differentiating factors are the built-in viewfinder, absent in NEX-5R, and better control functions than NEX-5R.
