As promised in May, Windows 7 users now can upgrade their current windows to windows 8. And they have to pay $14.99. But this offer is valid for the users who purchased Windows 7 pc after June 2. In a recent tweet by Windows, Microsoft has confirmed it that the offer is available in 140 countries.

The registration is open only until January 31, 2013. If anyone misses by this timeline, he/she has to purchase Windows 8 pro in the release price. So don’t wait & order for the upgrade. Windows is on the verge of full release. According to Microsoft, it has released the OS to manufacturing. This essentially means that hardware vendors finally have the OS and the next thing they have to do is to load it into their machines and ship it out to the customers.
