We have been hearing a lot of rumors about iPhone 5. Some have speculated that it will make use of in-cell touch panels. Others have claimed that it will have a larger screen with greater dimensions. There have also been news of 1136 x 640 screen resolution and a redesigned dock connector. Ever wondered what will iPhone 5 be like if all this were true?
Techno Buffalo has now worked on what may be an attempt to give us a taste of our fantasies. The folks at Techno Buffalo have measured the dimensions of a new iPhone, in light of all the rumors and then see how a mock-up of such a larger iPhone looks like next to the rather small iPhone 4S.
The idea was to bring together all the rumors about iPhone 5 which are floating and then apply them to a mock up, piece by piece, so as to see what an iPhone 5 may really look like. As it turned out, the mock up looks excellent and Apple may really be able to capture a lot more hearts and minds with a larger iPhone.
The greatest help, in creating the mockup, was taken from the detailed schematics of the device which were leaked earlier on the web and were being claimed to be authentic. If they are indeed authentic, it means that the design of iPhone 5 is publicly available nearly entirely.
These leaked schematics are too detailed and someone would barely to such painful lengths to create something which is fake – that’s precisely why they look quite real. And it is by using them that Techno Buffalo has created an iPhone 5 mock up.
