Analyst Say Initial Production For iPhone 5S May Begin In March

Earlier we reported that demand of iPhone 5 is decreasing. We assumed that this could happen as we heard a news that iPhone 5S might be on its way. Now, Jeffries analyst Peter Misek has agreed with us. According to his new report, initial production for iPhone 5S is going to begin in March and may launch in June or July.

iPhone 5S

Peter Misek thinks Apple has two new iPhone prototypes in testing. One is cheap iPhone and the other is iPhone 5S. However, he has reported that iPhone 5S will come in multiple colors with improved battery life and will feature possibly a 4.8″ Retina/IGZO display which Apple may get it from Sharp.

He reported, “Commenting on fears of of large CQ1 component order declines, the primary drivers are: 1) an assembly bottleneck caused component inventories to rise in CQ4; 2) new iPhone builds starting in March; 3) demand being in line to slightly below optimistic expectations.”

Misek claims, iPhone 5S is going to be in production in March with intention of launching in June or July and the device may cost $800. Stay with us to know whether it’s a rumor or not.
