Gigabyte has come out with an upgraded Booktop the M1005 with docking station. It is capable to close the lid and stand up in a docking station likes nettop / desktop with plug in mouse, keyboard, and display, but it able also a typical netbook.
The new Gigabyte M1005 is powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LED-backlit display, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 1GB/2GB memory, 250GB/320GB hard drive and running Microsoft Windows 7 Starter.
The Gigabyte M1005 also sports Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 1.3-megapixel camera, a 4-in-1 card reader, two 1.5W speakers, and a 4-cell battery.
There are three USB ports (on right side only), Gigabit Ethernet, and a 4-in-1 card reader. The docking station for Gigabyte Booktop M1005 is provides an Ethernet port, three USB ports, line output, and VGA port.
