We have been hearing about LG’s upcoming G2 smartphone for quite some time now. It is expected that the company will announce the first handset at an event next month. To build up the right hype leading to the event, LG has now released a teaser video, which gives a hint of what G2 may pack when it arrives.
The teaser video revolves around the ‘human experience’ by citing different interesting facts. For instance, it talks about the number of cells that your body comprises of as well as about your friends. This rather philosophical message then culminates with ‘Everything about you inspires me. It means you are perfect.’
Naturally, the company didn’t divulge any significant details about the upcoming handset. Towards the end of the video, one can almost see the shadow of a handset featuring a rather unconventional positioning of the volume rocker. This isn’t surprising since LG has already promised that the G2 smartphone will not pack the regular volume rocker placed on the side of the handset.
Since LG’s marketing campaign seems centered at the phrase “Learning from you,” it has been cited that the upcoming handset may offer a smarter experience when compared to other contemporary offerings. There have been speculations that the handset may include a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU together with 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and will run Android Jelly Bean.
The company is all set to lift the wraps off the G2 smartphone at an August 7 press event scheduled to take place in New York City.
