Nokia Lumia 900 Out Of Stock With AT&T, Available On Amazon

Nokia has been trying hard to be a significant part of the expanding smartphone market. Nokia and Microsoft have great hopes with the flagship line of Lumia smartphones. And it seems that now, these hopes may finally be realized. AT&T’s website is currently reporting that Nokia Lumia 900 is out of stock with the wireless carrier which pretty much indicates really good sales of the device.

While this most certainly points to good sales, we are not yet sure just how many Lumia 900 handsets have AT&T sold. That would put things out in the clear since if the wireless carrier had a small number of handsets, it would have gone out of stock pretty soon.

Moreover, this claim from AT&T’s official website is further backed up by a number of AT&T retailers who have actually reported that the stock has flown right off the shelf. This pretty much means that Nokia Lumia 900 has been able to make some handsome sales in the smartphone market. While that may not count as a win, that is still a fair achievement for both Nokia and Microsoft. Nonetheless, the device is still available with Amazon Wireless.

What still bothers a lot of us, though, is that the handset has been suffering from data connection problems. So its about time Nokia worked on these issues and sorted them out real quick since time is the key in today’s tech world – and a little late is too late.

The number of Lumia phones AT&T likely ordered likely corresponds to Windphone’s Marketshare which is under 2%, hence, not a lot of phones.

So, if they’re sold out, it doesn’t exactly mean a zerg rush of lemmings to a phone with an about to be discontinued OS, that is not upgradeable to the new version 8, as pointed out on TheRegister.
