A number of reviews have been written about Samsung’s flagship device, Galaxy S III. And most of them have been eulogizing, praising the device for its design as well as its features. Naturally, Android users are eagerly waiting for the device to hit the shelves so that they can lay their hands on it. Now, a rumor suggests the exact date of Galaxy S III’s availability in US and Canada.
What is confirmed about Galaxy S III is that it will arrive in Europe on May 29. However, so far, Samsung hasn’t given a definite date for the arrival of the device in US or Canada. It has been saying that Galaxy S III will be available in North America sometime in June.
Now, however, a website MobileSyrup has reported that the device will become available in North America on June 20th. MobileSyrup posted a screenshot, further elaborating that in Canada, S III will be available with Rogers, Bell, Virgin Mobile and Telus. The screenshot is no longer available on the website since the site claims it was asked to take down the image. However, Tom’s hardware was able to grab a copy of the image before it was taken down.
Rumors from yet another source kind of confirm what MobileSyrup has claimed. TMoNews had reported that according to one of its source, the metallic blue version of Galaxy S III will become available with T-Mobile on June 20th, the same date as claimed by MobileSyrup. TMoNews further claims that the white version, in 16GB model, will arrive as late as July 11.
On July 11, Samsung’s Galaxy Note is also expected to arrive on T-Mobile. While these are still rumors, they seem quite close to the truth and Android users can expect a number of these flagship devices to hit the shelves in North America within the next two months.
