Samsung debuts Wave 2, Wave 2 Pro, Omnia Pro 4, Omnia Pro 5, I5800 at CommunicAsia 2010

Wave 2, Wave 2 Pro and Omnia Pro devices support quad-band GSM with EDGE connectivity, 3.2-inch TFT LCD, TouchWiz UI, Social Hub, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, 3MP camera, A-GPS, 80MB internal memory and microSD card slot.

As expected, Samsung has introduced new phones on bada, Windows Mobile and Android platforms at CommunicAsia.The Wave 2 (S5250) and Wave 2 Pro (S5330) will be bada-powered and will mostly be priced lower than the original Wave. Both the phones will feature Wi-Fi, Social Hub and support for Samsung Apps application store.

Wave 2 (S5250) and Wave 2 Pro (S5330) will be available from August in Russia and Southeast Asia in black, white and pink colors.

Samsung has also introduced Omnia Pro 4 (B7350) and Omnia Pro 5 (B6520) devices based on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. Omnia Pro 4 will be available from July in Europe, CIS and Southeast Asia whereas Omnia Pro 5 will go on sale from August in Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa, India and Latin America.

Rounding up the Android offerings, Samsung also unveiled Galaxy 5 I5500 – which has already got official –, Galaxy Beam (I8520) and Galaxy 3 (I5800). The phone we thought was Beam turns out it is Galaxy 3 (I5800). The details here are slim again except the availability status.

Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 will start selling in European and Asian markets from July while Galaxy Beam will launch in July for Singapore customers.

Beam that was introduced at the CES 2010 sports a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 8MP camera, HD video recording and an integrated pico projector.
