Archos Arnova 8 tablet now finally available for pre-order with a price tag of $159.99. The Arnova brand represents the budget tablet range from the French manufacturer and the latest on offer, the Archos 8 is no exception.
The Archos Arnova 8 tablet is runs Google Android 2.1 OS Eclair and packs a 8-inch resistive touchscreen TFT LCD display with maintain 800 x 600 pixel, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. New Arnova 8 budget tablet is equipped with USB 2.0 port, microSD card slot, speakers, microphone, and a Lithium Polymer battery for up to 5.5 hours of video playback, up to 25 hours in music playback.
As for its battery performance, the Arnova 8 is claimed to have a music playback time of up to 42 hours along with a video playback time of up to 8 hours. The Arnova 8 is handy too, weighing 13.7 ounces while sporting external dimensions of 8 x 4.2 x 0.5 inches.
