FreedomPop has announced the launch of it free internet service beta for public. The current package will offer guaranteed 500 MB data every month for free. Currently, the company is using Clearwire’s 4G network, and hopes to include Sprint’s 4G LTE network in 2013. User’s will be able to enjoy free internet at 4G speed without any contract or hidden fees.
All that the users have to do is to buy a device from FreedomPop. The company will initially offer two devices, one is the Freedom Spot – Photon and the other is the Freedom Stick – Bolt. The Freedom Sopt – Photon can make a mobile device into a hotspot, supporting 8 devices. The Freedom Stick – Bolt will work as a plu-and-play modem for PCs. The company expects that the shipping of iPhone and iPod Freedom Sleeves will start within the next four to six weeks.
User’s of FreedomPop will get 1 GB free data, with guaranteed 500 MB data, every month. Users will have to pay $10 for each additional GB.
