Google has announced that mobile users on Android (2.2+) and iOS devices (4.0+) now have access to Instant Previews, a feature that Google launched on the desktop last November. The Google Instant Preview for mobiles is similar to the desktop version, offering preview of webpages from the search results.
Features:
* Quickly Compare Results: A visual comparison of search results helps you pick which result is right for you.
* Pinpoint Relevant Content: Text call outs highlight where your search term appears on the web page so you can evaluate if it’s what you’re looking for.
* Interact with the Results Page: Page previews let you see the layout of a web page before clicking the search result.
* Easy to Use: Just by a simple tap on the magnifying glass next to search result provides the preview.
Google, on its Mobile Blog, stated that the feature will be functional on phones having Android 2.2 or later with support for 38 different languages. If you are running Android 2.1 or earlier, you might not be able to enjoy the cool feature while searching the web through google.com.
