Google Search Query “Completely Wrong” Yields Mitt Romney Photos

Google isn’t your typical target of a political debate, but they are today because the search phrase “completely wrong” on Google Images leads users to a page full of Mitt Romney photos. This was first pointed out by a slew of users on Twitter yesterday afternoon.

The spark behind these Romney photos are Obama supporters who claim the Republican candidate is “completely wrong.” When a Google spokesperson was asked about the search result, they claim that’s how the system works. The algorithm “completely wrong” was tagged in numerous news articles involving Mitt Romney photos, thus the reasoning behind the results.

Last week Romney told Sean Hannity of Fox News – “Clearly in a campaign with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question-and-answer sessions, now and then you’re going to say something that doesn’t come out right, in this case, I said something that’s just completely wrong.”

As a result of the above statement, Google algorithms picked up on multiple sites reporting the particular term, therefore images associated with the articles were added as a Google search result. You search for “completely wrong” and tell us if you receive similar results.
