Facebook has confirmed that they have launched a new app center. Facebook wants to bring all types of apps such as iOS apps, Android apps, web apps, mobile web apps even desktop apps on this App Center. By using mobile app center, a user can browse apps which is compatible with their device, if a mobile app is needs to be installed then the user will be sent to download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Facebook said that in the coming weeks people will be able to access the App Center both from desktops and mobile. Facebook has also called for the developers to sign up on the App Center.
Facebook has over 900 million users, they expect that this app center will become the central place to find great apps like Draw Something, Pinterest, Spotify, Battle Pirates, Viddy, and Bubble Witch Saga.
