Google has announced that from now on, users can use their Google+ profile name to YouTube channel. Previously, we have seen that new users of Google+ and YouTube can do it simultaneously which Google has started from March. Basically, this offer is for existing users who has created accounts in both services before March.
If you don’t want to show your full name publicly associated with your channel, only want to show YouTube username then you can choose “I don’t want to use my full name” option. In coming months, Google will reveal more facilities to use the username in other Google products and services.
This will first be available in the US and internationally it will be available soon. For more information, check out Google help center.
