Vine, the popular service which essentially lets you post video tweets, was launched only a while ago. However, in a rather brief time, it has been able to amass more than 13 million users. Twitter has now dished out Vine app for Android, bringing the ability to post video tweets to an even larger mobile audience.
Given the popularity of the service, it was only a matter of time before it was introduced for Android. The Vine app was originally offered for iOS devices and has been able to gain significant traction across iPhones and iPads.
The Android app has just hit the Google Play store and is available for download now. It comes with a number of great features. For instance, you can create a video on the app with perfect ease and even utilize instant playback feature to see if you’ve got it right.
Moreover, the app also lets you discover other popular Vine posts and find such friends who are making use of the app too. Interestingly, the Android app comes with one extra feature that is not available in the iOS counterpart of Vine – you can zoom in on the content and view it more closely.
But within few hours of the app’s launch, many users have started reporting a number of issues. According to Twitter, it is sorting out the issues and the app should start functioning smoothly within no time.
