World’s First Gesture Controlled Set-Top Box For TV – NtobeBox

Gesture control technology is well-known to all tech savvy people. One good example is Microsoft Kinect that allows people to use their whole body as a video game controller. Now the gesture control technology has come on both Android and on TV box. A set-top box named ntobeBox is now offering gesture controlled TV interactions. Now, you can forget about your old remote, and can directly control your TV with a wave of your hand.

The ntobeBox set-top box for TV has been designed in collaboration of eyeSight Mobile Technologies and Innodigital.

This technology makes interaction with the TV in an entirely ‘hands-on’ matter. This set-top box runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and can turn any ordinary TV into a smart TV. Users can stream content, use apps, join in video calls, and browse the internet through this set-top box.

The bad thin g is, we don’t know the price and availability of the device yet.
