Google Adds More Security Features To Buzz

Google has been getting a lot of flak for the intentional privacy holes it left in Buzz. The privacy problems handed Google a lot of bad publicity, with the entire web community (it seems) hating Buzz with a passion. Now Google is trying to reign in the damage by making changes to Buzz’s privacy settings that it claimed just a couple of days ago to be unnecessary.

Private email addresses in @replies that were previously visible have now been hidden, and the auto-follow feature will soon be changed to a suggestion-based system.
Let’s see if people are ready to forgive Google.
