According to a report,Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will reveal parts of Windows 8 during tomorrow night’s CES keynote.Ballmer will make a number of announcements regarding Windows Phone 7, Xbox and Windows.The main announcement will reportedly center on a version of Windows that will run on ARM microarchitecture, as has been rumoredin recent days.
Moreover, according to a report from WinRumors, a sneak peak of Windows 8 may also be teased at the event. And lastly, “Avatar Kinect” feature for Xbox 360 is also rumored to be announced today.
Also expected to be announced by Ballmer is that ARM chip fabricators including Nvidia, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments have entered into agreements with Microsoft in order to produce chipsets that will be compatible with the slate optimized version of Windows 8.
