Mozilla team has been working hard at its Firefox OS, yet another open-source operating system for mobile devices. While we have seen bits and glimpses of the new OS, the team is yet to officially launch it. Now that the team has rolled out invitations to a press conference at MWC event, we may be in for the unveiling of Firefox OS.
So far, Mozilla team has shown off a number of features that are a part of the Firefox OS. And without a doubt, their efforts seem fairly impressive. In fact, the likes of ZTE have already expressed interest in the new mobile OS, expecting to launch a Firefox OS device soon.
In light of all this, it is about time that Mozilla lifted the wraps off the budding mobile OS and let us feast our eyes on it, in detail. The press event to which the company has invited a whole lot of press seems an apt place to do so, especially because it would be during the Mobile World Congress event.
To be exact, the press event will be held on February 24th at 6 p.m. CET. The team promises that it will send out more details and a more formal invitation soon.
