Earlier this year, a Chinese company Oppo, also known for its high-end Blu-ray players, released world’s thinnest smartphone called Oppo Finder that was 6.65mm thick. Reportedly, now the company is making world’s first 1080p smartphone called Oppo Find 5. CEO of Oppo Mobile, Chenming Yong revealed details about this upcoming phone to a Chinese tech site CNMO.com. The Oppo Find 5 will feature a 5-inch display with a whopping 441 pixels per inch (PPI).
The Oppo Find 5 will come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), 2GB RAM, either 16GB or 32GB of storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, and a 2,500mAh battery.
If Oppo Find 5 can beat HTC’s rumored 1920×1080-pixel HD display smartphone then the company can claim the title. Neither its price nor its availability has been mentioned till now.
