The Korea-based company may not have a large smartphone presence in the West, but has a number of impressive handsets in Korea. Pantech offering is the Vega Racer, which claims to be the world’s first 1.5GHz dual-core smartphone.
That’s certainly a lot of power in a tiny device it uses Qualcomm’s MSM8660 Snapdragon chip, 1GB of RAM, and an Adreno 220 GPU. It’s also not a petite handset, looming large with a 4.3-inch LCD. Other features include an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. As a phone with the weighs 120g (4.23 oz) and is 9mm thin is not bad! Apart from the Vega Racer, Pantech is hopping on the tablet bandwagon and development is said to be “in full swing.”
Right now we dont have any info regarding pricing, availability, and even the OS version. Keep eye on us for any further info.
