Once installed, this new application offers users authenticate with their Microsoft account and let them send messages to contacts from Windows Live Messenger. It is also important to know that the list of friends from Skype will immediately be added inside the Windows Phone 8 contacts section.
One of the new and eagerly awaited features is the ability to receive calls and messages even when the application is closed. Microsoft says that this functionality is still under development.
