At Square Enix’s 1st Production Department Premier press conference in Japan, Square Enix has officially announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.The details of Final Fantasy XII-2 are ather limited at the moment, but it will again be directed by Motomu Toriyama and it will be releasing during 2011 in Japan.Toriyama claimed that fans had desperately been seeking a sequel to find out more about Lightning, so that’s why the game was developed. A short trailer was shown which will be made available on the 20th of January. It showed Lightning in a fight with a purple haired man.
Oh,there is also a great news, Square confirmed that the trailer which was shown during the Japan event and featured the voice of Noctis for the first time among other stuff will be released for the public on Jan 20.The trailer will be made available for download from their press site from Jan 20 and the rest of the trailers will be made available on January 27 to the public.All the trailers will be in HD.FF Versus XIII remained a PS3 exclusive worldwide at the event.
