How Profesional Athletes Use Video Games To Train

With the advent of ultra-realistic sports video games with superb graphics, actual athletes are making playing those games a part of their training regimen. The games can help a professional athlete remain sharp and focused. For example, NASCAR drivers who can’t test-drive actual racetracks use the video game versions to “learn new tracks or refresh their memories about courses they have raced on before.”


Not everyone agress on the utility of video games to help improve and athlete’s performance. Some maintain it is a distraction that can be detrimental to performance. But let’s face it, how do you resist playing a game when you’re a default avatar choice in it like some of the players featured in FIFA Soccer?
