Max Payne has gathered a huge fan following among gamers and has been one of the fairly popular games of our times. The good news for Max Payne fanatics is that the game will soon be coming to mobile devices, both Android and iOS. The developers of the game at Rockstar haven’t put a tentative schedule for the release of the game but what we do know is that the work on this is under way and we can expect the mobile version of the game to be out within the next few months.
Rockstar Games has been the developer company for two of the most popular games of recent times: these are Grand Theft Auto, popularly known as GTA and Max Payne. While mobile versions of GTA have been developed and released, the mobile version of Max Payne is still being worked on.
The gameplay of the game involves role playing as an ex-NYPD officer. The story starts when Payne’s wife and child are brutally murdered and he is also the prime suspect for his partner’s murder. You then have to run away from being arrested and at the same time, figure out the killers of your family and then avenge them.
The company will soon reveal the exact date of the release of the mobile version of Max Payne. According to the official statement, “Following the release of Grand Theft Auto III for iOS (and Android devices) late last year, the original Max Payne will be our next release for mobile devices. We will have an official announcement soon confirming the release date, but you can expect it to finally be released sometime in the next couple months.”
