New Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 For iphone

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is finally coming for iPhone. Activision didn’t make the announcement yet. But Tony Hawk himself let it slip through his personal Twitter feed, including a screenshot of game in full action. According to Hawk, Pro Skater 2 is headed to the iphone App Store very soon.

Few other details are available right now, but Pro Skater 2 uses a virtual d-pad and trick buttons, such as grab, grind, and kick for when your Skater has flung himself off the lip of a ramp or jump. It would make sense for Pro Skater 2 to use tilt controls for maintaining balance on grinds, but it could also be used to initiate in-air tricks.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 marks Activision’s second move into the App Store. Following Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies, it’s clear that the publisher wants its biggest brands at play on the iPhone. Look for more information soon on IGN.
