The famous Star Trek will make its return in 2013 in video game. The third person action, adventure game is expected to become one of the top charted games in 2013. Digital Extremes, Namco Bandai Games and Paramount Digital Studios, the developer of the game, work really hard to give the game a new HD graphical edge look. They claim that the game will represent next generation graphics quality.
There is nothing much revealed about the game. Namco only revealed in E3,2012 that the upcoming game’s plot setting will be between the time period of Star Trek and Star Trek into Darkness. All the lead characters will be playable. Not only that, classic enemies such as Gorn will be back as game’s main antagonist.
There is no update about the game play of Star Trek 2013. Although the trailer shows that the game holds the third person shooting content. Rumors have been spread that the game levels will have lots of exploration. There will be sufficient number of side missions. Puzzle and QTEs would be included in the game. Lots of gadgets will be seen to function that will aid players in their missions.
Marianne Krawczyk is the the lead script writer of the game. Alex Kartzmen and Bob Orci are the assistant script writers. They did a good work on development of storyline. Namco uses a modified Evolution Engine to make the game more fluent and smooth. Multi player game will be available. The game will be released for consoles such as PS3, Xbox 360 early of Q1 in 2013 but it will make debut in Microsoft Windows on much later date.
