Apple Bans iPhone Apps With Overtly Sexual Content

Apple now has new policy in place for its iPhone app store in which they are to remove any application “overtly sexual content” from the store. Previously, Apple ordered the removal of an iTunes called Wobble iBoobs that let users take a photo of a woman in a bikini, and add zones on her body that would wobble when they shake their phone.

Apple said in an email, ” We have recently received numerous complaints from our customers about this type of content and have changed our guidelines appropriately. We have decided to remove any overtly sexual content from the App Store, which includes your application.” Other apps with sexual content tat were removed include SlideHer: Tera Patrick and Dirty Fingers: Screen Wash. But there still remains many other like them at the app store. Perhaps this process will continue, and over time all objectionable content may be taken down.
