Apple Pulls iOS App Discovery And Daily Deal Service AppGratis From App Store

Apple iOS app discovery service and daily deal AppGratis has been delivered people one paid app for free everyday. People were quite satisfied with the service. But suddenly Apple has pulled the service from its app store.

AppGratis

All on a sudden, Apple has pulled the service from its app store. The issue for which the app was taken down is currently unknown. But it is being assumed to be the new rule that Apple added in its Terms & Conditions for third-party developers last year in September. The new rule says: “Apps that display Apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to or confusing with the App Store will be rejected.” AppGratis CEO Simon Dawlat mentioned earlier that Apple would probably go after low-quality copycats, not AppGratis.

On the other side, there’s still a possibility of the app being rejected only because of a minor issue with an update, but we’ll know for sure only when AppGratis gives an official comment on the issue. Current users of the app can continue to use the app as earlier, but others won’t be able to find the app.
