Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 Untethered with the Greenpois0n RC5 is successfully working to all idevices. However a great number of users have reported that they are unable to find the Loader icon on their springboard. Here i’m giving a total step by step guideline to solve this problem.
The steps are as follows:
Step 1: Connect iphone to computer. Turn it off in usual way and close iTunes.
Step 2: Open “terminal”, type SUDO, open Greenpois0n as “Show package contents”, go MacOS folder & drag greenpois0n to terminal & hit enter. This will show some logs and will open the Greenpois0n program.
Step 3: Follow the GP instructions as normal. I kept holding the home button at the final stage until GP finally said complete. This may be overkill, but it seemed to work. As GP is running, you’ll see lots of logs appearing in the terminal window.
Step 4: The screen on the iPhone will go white temporarily, the go lack and lots of logs will appear.
Step 5: It will reboot a couple of times, with the animated GP logo.
That’s it.
Ifigured out the laoder icon problemm all you have to do is restore youre iPod let stay in recovery mode
(Not DFU)
and jailbreak it with Grrenp0ison afterthat finish syncing your iPod and youre done!!!! i love experimenting

Thank you! I hadn’t used terminal before so I had a bit of trouble understanding that I needed to ctrl+click on greenpois0n to see the “show package contents” option…but after I figured that out it all worked great! Thanks again!
