The jailbreak done through earlier version of Redsn0w didn’t support iBooks. In fact, nearly none of the jailbreaking tools were able to support iBooks. However, recently we reported that Pod2g had announced that another iOS hacker had successfully resolved the issue. So, now we have a new version of Redsn0w released by the iPhone Dev Team and it contains a fix for iBooks.
The best part of installing newer version of redsn0w is that you don’t have to uninstall the older version. So, you can simply run this new version over your current jailbreak but just uncheck Cydia while installation
The update includes not only an iBooks fix but also deals with many other problems that have been occurring with launchtl. As stated in Pod2g’s earlier blog post, iPhone Dev Team too thanked @xvolks for his immense help in resolving the sandbox issues. This new version of redsn0w is dubbed as 0.9.10b4 and can also be installed by installing the Corona package from Cydia.
