Apple is unveiling its upcoming products and OS features at WWDC 2013 non-stop. Besides unveiling new MacBook Air, Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks, few minutes ago Apple confirmed that it is working with a slew of car manufacturers to bring the iOS experience into cars.
At the WWDC 2013 keynote, Apple mentioned that car companies – including Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Ferrari and Infiniti – are working on functional integration of more iOS features in their cars. iOS 7 in cars will include Maps, iMessage, and music playback.
Apple Vice President Eddy Cue said that this integration could come out as soon as 2014 and could be seen in 2015 model cars.
