We reported just yesterday that Pod2g, the iOS hacker who’s quite a sensation in the iOS community around the globe, was on the very verge of achieving and untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S. According to the latest post on his blog, he has finally resolved the cache issues he was having and is one step closer untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S.
Pod2g has been attempting to find an untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S since the last few days. He has already accomplished untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod 3G and iPod 4G. The eyes of the entire iOS community as well as common Apple users have been set on him as he tried to crack the problem of the final problem, and the most difficult too: an untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S. In his post yesterday, Pod2g said that he was having some processor cache problems which wouldn’t allow him to complete the process of the untethered jailbreak. He stated that he will be working on these problems.
Problem solved:
In his latest post, he has finally claimed that he has resolved the A5 cache problems that he was having! Of course it took a lot of effort and repeated testing and strenuous hard work, as his post states. This certainly means a significant progress towards the jailbreak. According to Pod2g, he has also discovered some very useful components which will help him in the final stable untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S. Let’s hav our fingers crossed for him.
