TinyUmbrella Has Updated To Support iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone4, 3GS, iPad1 & 2, iPod 3 & 4

Apple has already released iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 & 2 and iPod Touch 3G & 4G. Notcom has updated TinyUmbrella to support the latest version of iOS. The update has the ability to save the SHSH blobs so that the device can be downgraded and jailbroken over time.

From the developer’s blog:

TinyUmbrella now supports 4.3.1 for the relevant devices. Currently only iPhone 4 for verizon does not have 4.3.1 support (as there is no 4.3.1 available for the verizon iphone). Enjoy!

For those who don’t know about SHSH blob, SHSH Blob is a signature verification file against Apple Server. It verifies that the iDevice is running the latest version of iOS. Saving SHSH blobs will allow you to restore to previous version. While doing so Apple will stop you doing the restore process. To make this happen you have send a request to different servers which forwards SHSH blobs to iTunes by just showing it that its a new version of iOS. This is how TinyUmbrella or iSHSHIT works to help you save SHSH blobs.
