MacRumors have reported that Verizon iPhone 4 pre-orders will start at 3 AM Eastern time on 3rd February 2011. The February 3 preorder date is just for current Verizon Wireless customers who have their My Verizon account set up. Preorders are limited, so once they’re gone, Verizon’s preexisting customers will have to wait until the February 10 general sale date.

Verizon is also reportedly accepting iPhones in a new trade-in program for AT&T customers. AT&T customers switching to the Verizon variant can bring in their current model and turn it in for credit. The prices for the trade-in devices is as follows:

* iPhone 2G – 16GB: $60
* iPhone 3G – 16GB: $105
* iPhone 3GS 32GB: $160
* iPhone 4- 16GB: $280
* iPhone 4 – 32GB: $360
