With the release of ultrasn0w 1.2 many people started complaining about battery drain as well as GPS not working issues.Sherif Hashim has already gave a temporary solution for the battery drain issue.Now for those who are having problems with GPS on their iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G, MuscleNerd has confirmed that this problem exists and is being worked upon. He said that this issue is not caused by baseband 06.1.500, but did not give it’s cause.

I can confirm. I used ultrasn0w 1.2 with the iPad baseband and I no longer have GPS.
I have a 3G on 4.0.1 bb 5.13 and my gps doesn’t work either
it is not Ultrasn0w it is the 06.15.00 baseband…..because I did not need it.
