Toshiba NB550D will be powered by the AMD C-50 APU Ontario which features two Bobcat cores with a clock speed of 1.0 GHz, the C-50 also has an AMD Radeon HD 6250 GPU (DirectX 11 support) which features 80 GPU cores with a clock speed of 280 MHz.The netbook according to presently available info. will be launched in Europe in three model options. The models are Toshiba NB550D-10G, Toshiba NB550D-109 and Toshiba NB550D-10H the only thing that differentiates the three netbooks is the case color the 10G will come in Metallic Blue, the 109 will come in Metallic Brown and the 10H in Metallic Orange. Other the inclusion of some new Harman/Kardon stereo speakers the specifications for Toshiba NB550D across all models is nothing too new for a netbook. Main features include a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) LCD, Windows 7 Starter, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, 3x USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI output, multi-card SD reader, Wi-Fi b/g/n, LAN and VGA webcam and microphone built-in.
