LG Electronics announced the XE1 and XE2, a couple of sleek, 2.5-inch portable hard drives which feature an USB 3.0 interface and both drives come in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities, the same size and shape, but have a different finish glossy on the XE1, matte on the XE2………
LG just released the XE1 and XE2, a pair of 2.5-inch HDDs available in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB sizes, the only difference: the XE1 has a glossy finish and its sibling, a matte one; both more conservative-looking than what Samsung‘s been peddling.The 2.5-inch external hard drives basically have the same dimensions and weight, but the difference is in the finish. The XE1 comes in a glossy finish and the XE2 has a matte design. Both models have initially launched in South Korea and priced at 100,000 to 160,000 won or $92 to $148. No word yet when the XE1 and XE2 will be released in the US.
