AT&T is the very first carrier in the US offering BlackBerry’s newest smartphone, BlackBerry Z10 at a price of $200 with a two-year contract. But mysteriously, people are showing very less response to buy BlackBerry Z10. More exciting news is where AT&T is supposed to display the BlackBerry Z10 more widely all over its stores, it is just doing the opposite.
Being the very first carrier to release BlackBerry Z10 in the US, naturally AT&T is supposed to display the BlackBerry Z10 all over its stores. But interestingly, in two stores of AT&T in Manhattan, there were neither special signs nor floor displays to promote the Z10. Rather there were large poster and festoons hung advertising iPhone 5. However, only fewer than 20 people arrived Friday morning at those two AT&T stores in Manhattan to specifically check out the new Z10, but most of them came to replace an older BlackBerry device.
On the other side, when a customer asked to see the Z10 at an AT&T store in downtown San Francisco, the store’s representatives brought it from the back of the store as it was displayed at a back corner of the store.
