About a year ago, Taiwanese manufacturer HTC launched Butterfly, the very first phone of its series. The phone comes with a 1080p screen and became very popular in countries in which it was released. However, now a rumor is swirling around that HTC may launch Butterfly 2, the successor of Butterfly in January of next year.
According to Taiwanese site ePrice, HTC Butterfly 2 will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, a 5.2 inch full HD display. The site also hints that the device will be waterproof. But unfortunately, there’s no word on battery capacity, camera storage, RAM, OS version, pricing and availability.
On the other side, HTC itself hasn’t said anything about the new Butterfly device. However, if the rumor is to be true, then we might see some leaked images or info of Butterfly 2 soon.
