Tethering, when said in the context of smartphone devices, is the ability to create a personal hotspot so as to let other wi-fi only devices use your data connection. iPhone users have been accessing this feature by tethering their devices for quite some time. And now it has been reported that Nokia Lumia 710, 800 and 900 will all have the tethering option.
It was reported earlier that only Nokia Lumia 610 was getting the tethering support. However, later we were told that the feature wasn’t confined to this single handset only but will also be coming to Nokia Lumia 800 and 900. The tether can be accomplished on these handsets with the help of a future update.
So far, no definite date has been given for the availability of this feature but we can safely assume that it will arrive together with the Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh. For Nokia Lumia 900 prospective buyers, the good news is that they will have a handset with tethering support right out of the box.
This feature can prove very useful to such users who tool multiple devices, especially at a time when no other Wi-Fi is available to leech off the connection.

No thethering still on 710. What is your source? I would question the validity of this article.
Sorry that the writer didn’t mentioned the source.
However, we are confident that the news is authentic. Please take a look at this Nokia Connect webpage .
