At CES in Las Vegas Dell has officially unveiled the Dell Streak 7, Android OS based Tablet.It is supported by T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network, and is capable of peak download speeds of 21Mbps for watching videos or online browsing.
The Streak 7 features an impressive 7-inch WVGA touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass for extra safety. Under its hood lies NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor that offers great support for Google’s Android 2.2 operating system and Adobe’s Flash Player 10.1.
On the Streak’s back, users will find a 5 megapixel camera for video recording and picture taking and a user facing 1.3 megapixel camera up front for video chatting. WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS support are also included.
The Dell Streak 7 will offer access to thousands of applications from the Android Market along with built-in Google mobile services, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, and YouTube.
While no pricing information has been announced at this time but T-Mobile said that the Streak 7 will be available in the coming weeks.
