Kurio is a name of tablet PC which is specially made for kids by Inspiration Works. This tablet PC’s operating system is Android. All kids are now users of Android. It is a great achievement for Android OS. Though Kurio is made for kids, side by side adult persons can use this tablet. This is the first kids Android tablet which has been awarded Best of Show at the Toy Fair, held at London’s Olympia January 24-26.
The Kurio tablet runs on the Google’s operating system named Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and its are available in three sizes – 7″ (800×480 resolution), 8″ (800×600 resolution), 9″ (940×600 resolution). The 8″ and 9″ models will have a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera and a 2-megapixel rear camera. The 7″ only sports a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera. Battery life for the Kurio is rated at six hours.
The Kurio will be launched in the UK this July and will be priced at £150 for the 7″, £180 for the 8″ and £200 for the 9″ ($233, $280, and $311 respectively).
