Samsung To Start Galaxy Tab 7.0+ Android 4.0 Updates From July

If you’re an owner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7, or 7.0 Plus, then you might be anxiously awaiting your Android 4.0 ICS update for your tablet. You will be happy to hear that Samsung will be updating several products in its Galaxy Tab line with Android 4.0, beginning next month.


Ice Cream Sandwich will obviously bring a better User Experience onto your tablet. Moreover, the update will improve your tablet’s battery and speed. Here is the complete list of Galaxy Tab tablet models that will get ICS.

  • GT-P6210 Galaxy Tab Plus 7.0 WIFI
  • GT-P6200 Galaxy Tab Plus 7.0 WIFI + 3G
  • GT-P6810 Galaxy Tab 7.7 WIFI
  • GT-P6800 Galaxy Tab 7.7 WIFI + 3G
  • GT-P7310 Galaxy Tab 8.9 WIFI
  • GT-P7300 Galaxy Tab 8.9 WIFI + 3G
  • GT-P7510 Galaxy Tab 10.1 WIFI
  • GT-P7500 Galaxy Tab 10.1 WIFI + 3G

ICS updates will start in July. But, according to SamMobile, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7 and Tab 7.0 will see the switchover in August.
